Synapse iD is run by Durellem Ltd. This page explains what we keep about you and why. Questions or requests: support@durellem.com.
If you have a card
- Your email address and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password, so you can log in.
- The details you put on your card, such as name and phone. These are public to anyone with your link or QR code.
- How many times your card was caught, and when. We don't record who caught it.
- What you bought and when. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store card numbers.
- Custom design requests you send us.
If you catch someone's card
We don't ask who you are and don't store anything about you. Your phone remembers which creatures it has caught, so the same one isn't counted twice. That stays on your phone. If you save the contact, it goes to your phone's address book, not to us.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you logged in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies. If you never log in, we set no cookies at all.
Who helps us
- Vercel runs the website, in Frankfurt where possible.
- Neon stores the database, in Frankfurt.
- Stripe processes payments.
How long we keep it
As long as you have an account. Ask us to delete your account and we'll remove your card and details, except payment records we must keep for bookkeeping.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete what we hold about you, and complain to your data protection authority. Write to support@durellem.com and we'll answer within 30 days.
